Artistic Escape Grades 7-8

Artistic Escape (Grades 7 -8) – July 14 & 16, 2026
 

This two-day art camp is designed specifically for middle school students who are ready to be creative, try new techniques, and experience art in exciting new ways.

Day 1: Hands-On Studio Art Campers will take part in engaging, hands-on art activities including drawing, painting, and mixed media projects. They’ll experiment with different materials and techniques while developing their own artistic style in a supportive, creative environment. Both guided instruction and open studio time allow for skill-building and self-expression.

Day 2: Immersive Art Field Trip Campers will travel to Columbus’ Otherworld, an interactive, immersive art experience featuring large-scale installations, glowing environments, and imaginative spaces. Students will explore, interact with the exhibits, and gain inspiration from contemporary immersive art.
