Space Exploration Camp
With the help of AI, get ready to blast off this July! Students entering grades 2–8 are invited to join us for an unforgettable two-day journey through space, exploring the universe while discovering how cutting-edge STEM technology like AI is shaping space exploration today. Camps cover the same core topics but progress in difficulty and skill level with each age group.
From building and launching rockets to creating moon maps utilizing various AI concepts, this camp blends hands-on learning, creativity, and real-world discovery in a way that’s truly out of this world!
Camp Sessions
July 20 & 22, 2026 – Grades 2 - 4
July 21 & 23, 2026 – Grades 5 - 6
July 27 & 29, 2026 – Grades 7- 8
Time: 8:30 am – 4:00 pm (drop off @ 8 – 8:30 am/pick up @ 4:00 pm)
Schedule:
Day 1: Space, STEM & AI Exploration
Campers become junior astronauts and future innovators through interactive activities while learning how AI helps scientists explore space and how robots and rovers “think” and navigate:
- Build and launch model rockets and plan your space travel
- Explore and map the surface of the moon without leaving the Earth
- Discover gravity, orbits, and planetary motion
- Play AI games and challenges
- Participate in team-based STEM challenges that encourage creativity and problem- solving
Day 2: Field Trip Adventure
Campers will visit the Neil Armstrong Air and Space Museum, hometown of Neil Armstrong.
Students will:
- Explore real space artifacts
- Experience interactive exhibits
- Learn about the historic Apollo 11 Moon Landing
- Learn about the historic Artemis II Moon Mission
This immersive experience brings their learning to life and inspires the next generation of explorers and innovators.
